Oral History: Robert L. Pugh, WWII Veteran, U.S. Army

Today we celebrate Veteran's Day. Montgomery County history is rich with the stories of those who have served our nation. Here is one such story, the story of Robert L. Pugh a WWII War Army Veteran. This video is a part of the Montgomery County Historical Society's Veterans Oral History Project and the Library of Congress' Veterans History Project.


Alexis Lebedeff conducted the interview in Crawfordsville, Indiana, at Lane Place, the headquarters for the Historical Society. Lebedeff is a retired Crawfordsville High School Economics teacher and a Korean War Veteran who served as a 1st Lt. with the U.S. Army, Civil Affairs Military Government Office, in Korea (1951-52).


This is the first video in a series we will be presented on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Pleased keep an eye out for future Montgomery County Oral History videos.
