About the event
The Montgomery County Historical Society invites the local community to attend the presentation series, Lessons In History, Civil War on Thursday, July 31st from 10 to 11 AM at Historic Lane Place.
MCHS staff members Jill Coates-Matthews, Executive Director, and Owen Bennett, Assistant Director, will present a selection of Civil War artifacts from the MCHS collection. Visitors who attend will learn about topics such as Civil War medicine, ammunition, uniforms and the local community's involvement in the conflict.
