The Montgomery County Historical Society is housed in the Henry S. Lane Antebellum Mansion, a beautiful Greek Revival home that has enjoyed a complete and careful restoration. Along with promoting Montgomery County history, MCHS maintains the preservation of Lane Place and its artifacts and the surrounding grounds.
We also educate, preserve, and inspire.
